Introducing Asia Policy

The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) is pleased to announce the launching of Asia Policy, a peer-reviewed journal that is the newest initiative to fulfill NBR’s purpose of “bridging the gap” between academic research and policymaking.

We will consider for publication academic research—whether case-specific analysis or empirically focused theoretical analysis—that adheres to the standards of general social science methodology. In addition, research must draw clear and concise implications for policymakers. Submissions must meet the requirement spelled out in the Guidelines for Submission, including having a one-page Executive Summary.

Asia Policy:

Bridging the gap between the academic and policy worlds by publishing policy-relevant scholarly research on Asia that draws clear and concise implications for policymakers.
